Hello and welcome to my blog! I would like to start with a topic I think everyone has come across : productivity. How can you be productive and motivated during the day and mostly these difficult times? Below I give you 5 ways in order to achieve your goals
Whether you are a household keeper, a student or a remote employee, organization is a must. Writing a to do list or just putting a reminder on your calendar the night before, allows you a less stressful day knowing exactly what to do and when. Some planner that could help you organize your thoughts or responsibilities are : Evernote, Cloze, Otter Voice Notes, Todoist, 24.me and Any.do.
* Just try to avoid distractions like Social Media for better results.
Become an early bird ( in case you’re not one)
Having set your goals for the next day , it’s time to go to bed early at night and wake up early in the morning. Of course early can have different meanings for every one so it’s up to you taking rest your well deserved 8 hours. However, remember that it’s not the same sleeping from 22:00 to 06:00 with 02:00 to 10:00. Staying until that late you are more likely to heart and hunger attacks, bad memory and elevated stress levels. Two tips that could help and I personally trust are : 1) putting the alarm clock on the other side of the room. In that way it makes you get up easier in order to turn off it. 2) let the morning light come in. I know. Some people may think it’s exactly the opposite but everytime I go to bed without closing the blinds, I wake up earlier and pretty natural. It seriously happens all the time!
Some” fuel” for our body could be a healthy yet a full of energy diet with season fruits and vegetables. Try to avoid sugar by preparing some dry fruits as a snack like almonds or cashews which are full of protein and combine them with a fresh fruit. Moreover, always hydrate your body by drinking lots of water and infusions like green or peppermint tea. Your gut will thank you plus after the ‘refuel’ you”ll feel brand new, ready to continue.
Take your time
Idea: Work hard focusing completely on your project for about 20-30 minutes and then have a 10 minute break. Then, repeat. In that way, working becomes easier but without overloading.
If you stay many hours at home especially if you do have a sedentary life, exercising is a must. Choose some specific hours between your busy schedule, put on your most comfy clothes and work out! Get out for walking or running as it will refresh not only your body but also your mind. If it’s cold outside, transform your home into a gym. You will need a mat, a good mood and some yoga/pilates video. *Don’t forget to fix your position when working. You don’t want to have a head or shoulders full of pain.
